Nathaniel Rackowe (b.1975, Cambridge, UK) lives and works in London, UK. He graduated BA (Hons.) Fine Art, Sheffield Hallam University (1998) and the Slade with a M.F.A in sculpture in 2001. He has exhibited his work internationally, including Galerie Almine Rech (Paris), the Economist Plaza (Contemporary Art Society, London), the Institute of Contemporary Art (London), Chisenhale Gallery (London), MoCA (Miami), and Duve (Berlin). Recent exhibitions include Passing Through, FOLD Gallery, London, UK (2021); Luminous Territories, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE (2019); The Shape of aCity, Letitia Gallery, Beirut, Lebanon (2018); Black Shed Expanded, Parasol Unit, London, UK (2016); and Edge Lands, Galerie Jérôme Pauchant, Paris, France (2014). His large-scale architectural structures and light sculptures are designed to recreate the experience of navigating the city around us.
