Dordolo is an artist who moves confidently between sculpture and painting, borrowing physical manifestations from both to allow dark humour in all its exaggerations to flourish into absurdity, and to navigate the boundaries of low and high brow art. Drawing from medieval fiery conflagrations and other images, fever and consuming fire are recurring devices in his work that act as extreme defensive mechanisms or entry points into delirium.
