This piece emerges in response to the imposition of content filtering on workplace computing systems. The work, made with oil, pen and beeswax on canvas, presents a provocative visual portrayal of NSFW (Not Suitable For Work) subject matter, subtly incorporating a clock time face delicately encircling a nipple. The clock represents Fuller’s recent transformation, recognising within herself a growing inclination toward routine and structure.
The methodology employed involves the introduction of gridded structures, thereby establishing a systematic approach to the creative process. Being male-dominated and prone to toxic masculinity, the financial and corporate world is depicted by Fuller without the presence of women except when objectified; therefore, in the exhibition, the only female presence is one breast portrayed in this painting.
