"My work celebrates growth and accumulation. Using modified grotto techniques, I combine aggregates, including surplus oyster shells, chip forks and lumps of asphalt. Taking inspiration from the harsh but abundant ecologies of coastal landscapes, the works appear populated by marine accretions. Rooted in human vulnerability, the works foreground forms of shelter, defence and regeneration within the organic world."
