Brooke Benington Residencies is based in Studio Block M74 in Mexico City. M74 is a dedicated sculpture studio, home to a mix of Mexican and international sculptors. Established by Pablo de Laborde Lascaris and Adeline de Monseignat, both successful international sculptors, the studio is part of a network of like-minded artists. Each artist is provided with a large well lit studio space and given access to a range of sculpting facilities and opportunities. Artists are able to work with local crafts-people and fabricators to learn new skills and experiment with techniques and materials which may be unavailable or unaffordable at home, such as bronze casting, stone working, steel construction etc.

Artists are encouraged to expand and diversify their practice, aided by peer to peer engagement with other artists, critical dialogue with galleries and curators and immersing themselves within the varied local communities. During their stay, artists are in regular contact with the Brooke Benington team and benefit from one to one mentoring, discussing their progress, available facilities and production options.
